Application Scientist - Customer Support

Wyatt Technology Corporation seeks to add a key member to its Customer Support team in Santa Barbara. You will be interacting daily with Wyatt customers -- helping them with data interpretation and troubleshooting, as well as creating & editing Customer Service documentation. At our monthly Light Scattering University training class, you will be responsible for teaching our customers in person how the Wyatt instruments operate. You will also perform sample analysis in our Applications lab and at customer locations; therefore, some travel will be required.
We're looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and an excellent familiarity with basic lab techniques, instrumentation and software. HPLC and Wyatt light scattering experience would be ideal. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or other related field. Excellent organization, motivation, attention to detail, and communication skills are a must.
