2007 Eclipse Field Flow Fractionation (FFF) - MALS Focus Meeting

The 2007 Eclipse Field Flow Fractionation - MALS Focus Meeting was dedicated to the exchange of experience between users of the Eclipse FFF system. In this meeting, the application focus was on proteins, biopolymers and liposome/virus particles. The format of the meeting was a round-table discussion, structured along different topics.

1. Session: AF4 as a tool for the characterization of proteins and in protein formulation
Speaker: Professor Gerhard Winter, LMU University Munich

2. Session: Characterization of liposomes and colloid particles with AF4
Speaker: Professor Martin Brandl, University Tromsoe

3. Session: Method development and optimization of AF4 experiments
Dr. Dierk Roessner, Wyatt Technology Europe

4. Session: Hardware and software developments in AF4
Dr. Christoph Johann, Wyatt Technology Europe

Wyatt Technology is the world leader in providing the most advanced macromolecular and nanoparticle characterization tools. These instruments and software may be used to determine the absolute molecular weight and or size of macromolecules and nanoparticles and include: multi-angle light scattering, dynamic light scattering, high through-put dynamic light scattering, field flow fractionation, refractive index, zeta potential and viscometry detection.
