Optimization Calculator

The Optimization Calculator provides useful information prior to and after performing the experiment.

Prior to performing your experiment it is useful to understand the estimated minimum concentration required for the DLS measurement. The minimum concentration required for the DynaPro is molecular weight, conformation, and instrument specific – parameters that can be entered in the calculators.

Before or after the data are collected, it can be helpful to consider the expected size or conformation of the particle to be measured. DYNAMICS provides a database of four molecular families for estimating molecular weight from the measured radius, as well as a means for understanding the conformation of the particle given the measured radius and known molar mass.
