microCUVETTE Accessory

The microCUVETTE measurement accessory for the miniDAWN and DAWN is now here! It is possible to perform dynamic and 90° static light scattering measurements for sample volumes as small as 10 microliters (and the EOS can perform multi-angle measurements simultaneously). This accessory is fully compatible with our existing hardware and software. Batch measurements continue to be a popular technique for characterizing samples. Micro-batch measurements have several advantages over larger volume batch measurements as well as on-line injections of discrete samples for the study of proteins: i) sample preparation is simple, ii) expensive samples can be recovered and isolated, and iii) it is easy to study time-dependent characteristics of a protein sample.
