Automated Data Collection
In addition to running standard methods or protocols through “PreSet” files, DYNAMICS can collect data automatically for you, in an unattended manner. Automate kinetic, thermal, or plate reader experiments with a built-in feature of DYNAMICS called the Event Scheduler. The power and flexibility of the Event Scheduler enables you to design virtually any sequence of events for the DynaPro, allowing unattended operation of the instrument. Save and use Event Schedules over and over again when repeating defined protocols or experimental procedures.
A typical Plate Reader Event Schedule is shown below. The Event Schedule will scan 384 samples in an unattended fashion, automatically optimizing the sensitivity of the instrument for each well independently.
The Event Schedule shown below performs a thermal scan from 0 to 90 C in 1 degree increments, then from 90C to 0 C in 1 degree increments. You have the complete flexibility to program experiments containing custom temperature stages with different dwell times, increments, or ranges.
Wyatt Technology provides a library of Event Schedules (known as Preset Files) in its Customer Support Center reserved for registered DynaPro customers. The Event Schedules support the conventional batch experiments with the Titan as well as the DynaPro Plate Reader. The library includes Event Schedules for experiments such as time course studies, thermal ramps, thermal stability, and plate scans.
