Regularization Analysis

The autocorrelation function is also fitted with a proprietary non-negative least squares algorithm, commonly known as a Regularization algorithm. The Regularization algorithm makes no prior assumptions about the shape or form of the size distribution. The algorithm provides additional information such as the fraction of light scattered by each resolved species and the estimated mass fraction of each resolved species. The size distributions can also be viewed as intensity weighted or mass weighted.
