User Interface

The DYNAMICS software provides a 32-bit multi-document graphical user interface.  Logically organized from left to right, and top to bottom, software features are mode and configuration dependent, becoming more complex at the right time and situation for data collection, analysis, and presentation.   Features are available through a standard menu list or workspace node, expandable to expose a variety of choices.  In addition there are menu items that can be accessed by right clicking the mouse when it is positioned in a dialog window or location.

Shown above is the initial condition of the DYNAMICS software.  Create a new database or file; open and analyze or add more data to a previously recorded file; or load a pre-defined method for standard or automated data collection.

Shown below is the DYNAMICS interface after data have been collected, demonstrating the mode- and window-dependent menu items and icons for controlling the software.
