Vincent H. Hsieh, Ph.D.

R&D Scientist

Vincent HsiehVincent Hsieh obtained his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology, where he concentrated on optical information processing. Upon graduation, Dr. Hsieh completed postdoctoral research in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Yale University. He is interested in the applications of photonics to the fields of biology and chemistry. His research experience consists of various fields in optics: holography, fiber-optic communication, optical filters, nonlinear optics and bio-imaging. Dr. Hsieh is a proud member of the R&D team which improves existing WTC instruments and develops new ones to advance global research in macromolecules.
