Basic, Research Database, and Security Pack Tiers

Not all users want the same thing from a software package. Some need 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance, others want database storage for files, while others want the uncomplicated behavior of a standard Windows-based application that saves and reads data to files on the hard drive.

With ASTRA, Wyatt Technology has made it possible for users to get the behavior they want from the software, without being burdened by someone else's requirements. ASTRA can be activated in one of three different tiers:

  • Basic Tier: All of the rich functionality of ASTRA with data storage in standard files on the hard drive.
  • Research Database Tier: Everything that the Basic Tier provides, with the addition of data storage in a database.
  • Security Pack Tier: Everything that the Research Database Tier provides, plus full 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance, including secure logins, audit trails, electronic signatures, and more.
