AN6001: Charge and Interaction Analysis for Predicting Antibody Formulation Stability

Antibody Charge

Colloidal stability is a key solution property of a biotherapeutic formulations, indicative of propensity for native-state aggregation. Automated evaluation of the formulation-dependent stability of biotherapeutic antibodies, determining both zeta potential and the diffusion interaction parameter kD, can be accomplished with a Mobius electrophoretic light scattering instrument. In this note we present an example of combined measurements of net charge and kD in order to understand the difference between two formulations with different stability behavior.
