Dynamic & Electrophoretic Light Scattering

  • DynaPro Plate Reader

    DynaPro Plate Reader III

    High-throughput, automated dynamic light scattering.

The DynaPro Plate Reader III provides unparalleled levels of productivity and flexibility for the most demanding nanoparticle sizing and protein aggregation tasks such as biotherapeutic formulation, screening of promiscuous inhibitors, and optimization of protein crystallization conditions. Measurements are performed in situ with no fluid transfer. Select from industry-standard 96-, 384- or 1536-microwell plates.

  • DynaPro NanoStar

    DynaPro NanoStar

Traditional dynamic light scattering, just better.

The DynaPro NanoStar operates in traditional microcuvette-based format to analyze sizes and size distributions of proteins, micelles, quantum dots, liposomes, and metallic nanoparticles. It uniquely combines two optimized 90° detections channels: one for DLS and one for static light scattering. Providing an extraordinary temperature range, the NanoStar performs robust, accurate measurements with as little as 1 µL of sample.

  • Möbius

Automated electrophoretic mobility measurements of proteins and nanoparticles, in all types of solvents.

The Mobius connects to an autosampler to make reliable, reproducible, and non-destructive electrophoretic mobility measurements of macromolecules as small as 1 nm in radius, as well as micron-size nanoparticles. Versatile and sensitive, the Mobius characterizes the mobility of fragile biomolecules non-destructively, at low applied voltage, or nanometer-sized inorganic nanoparticles at high applied voltage.

Wyatt Technology is the recognized leader in light scattering instrumentation and software for determining the absolute molar mass, size, charge and interactions of macromolecules and nanoparticles in solution.

Wyatt's line of multi-angle static light scattering products couple to size exclusion chromatography (SEC-MALS), field-flow fractionation (FFF-MALS), and stop-flow composition-gradient systems (CG-MALS). Our dynamic light scattering (DLS) products operate in traditional cuvette as well as on-line and automated, high-throughput modes. We also offer unique instruments for electrophoretic light scattering (MP-PALS), differential refractometry, and differential viscosity.
